Arctic Foxes were not common in mountains: 3 dens were found at an area of 400 sq.km, only one contained pups. This family's diet mostly contained from Siberian Lemmings and hares. Nesting Arctic and Long-tailed Skuas had relatively high numbers. One breeding pair of Peregrine Falcons, 6 non-breeding pairs of Rough-legged Buzzards, and one nest of Buzzards with a clutch of 2 eggs were found at an area of 100 sq.km. Snowy Owls were rare. Most birds after arrival concentrated on small snow-free patches in Krasnaya River floodplain, but starting from 20 June their density in the valley decreased dramatically, and waders in pairs became noticeable. Among waders Dotterels and Pacific Golden Plovers were the most abundant in mountains, while Curlew Sandpipers and Little Stints - in valleys. Ringed Plovers inhabited gravel flats of mountain springs.

Rodent dynamics:
|
| Siberian Lemming numbers remains at a level of 2 animals/100 trap-days during summer; Collared Lemmings reached higher density of 6 animals/100 trap-days in various habitats of Krasnaya River valley. Their numbers increased by 20 July, but gradually dropped to 2 animals/100 trap-days by the end of summer. Juveniles did not bred.
