The nesting chronology of Lesser Snow Geese at the McConnell River in 2007 appeared to be two weeks later than the five-year average. This estimate was consistent with local traditional knowledge and the late nesting resulted in a low nesting propensity and clutch size. A cold, late spring may also have had a negative impact on nesting success this year.
